Yoga Class Descriptions

​Rasayana Restorative/Therapeutic Yoga

• ​RESTorative yoga is a slower practice where the poses are held for 5-8 minutes each. There is an emphasis on breath-work and meditation. This class is perfect for newcomers to yoga and others recovering from serious injury. Props are used to help students relax, while holding the positions for a period of time. Occasionally, essential oils will be used as part of the practice. No experiences of yoga is required. All levels of yoga are welcomed

Joyful Kids Yoga

• ​Joyful Kids Yoga is a 45 minute class for children, ages 7-12. Activities include: storytelling and picture book sharing, music & dancing, sun salutations, balancing poses, cooling down poses, mindfulness exercises, and closing song.   No experience of yoga is required. All levels of yoga are welcomed. ​
